What "honest map" means
An honest map does not mean perfect data on day one. It means:
- We do not publish properties we have not verified exist at a pin
- We do not inflate city-wide inventory to impress press or investors
- We do grow area by area — Ntinda, Najjera, corridors you actually live in
- We do show rent in UGX with period and deposit stated before the call
Empty map beats fake map. Tenants learn that quickly. So do landlords who have been burned by platforms that looked full and felt hollow.
Build in public, not build in fiction
You may see us share progress — pins added, lessons learned, mistakes corrected. That is intentional.
Uganda does not need another brand pretending Silicon Valley scale on day thirty. It needs a team that says: here is what exists today, here is what we are adding next week.
When we say "founding landlords," we mean people willing to put a real unit on a real pin while the map is still young. That takes nerve. We respect it.
