Common questions about RentFreely and renting in Uganda

Is RentFreely free to download?

Yes. RentFreely is free on Google Play. New tenants get a 2-month welcome period with full listing access. Optional paid views via MTN MoMo may apply later, not through Google Play billing.

How do I find a house for rent in Kampala?

Download RentFreely, open the map, and pan to areas like Ntinda, Najjera, Kololo, or Bukoto. Filter by UGX budget and property type. Every listing is pinned, so you see location before you call or book a viewing.

Where do I download the app?

Search RentFreely on Google Play or use our Play Store link. iOS is not available yet.

How do landlords list rental property?

Sign in, verify your account, add photos, set rent in shillings, and drop an accurate map pin. You can list rooms, apartments, or full houses, including multiple units in one building.

Which payment methods are supported?

MTN Mobile Money (MoMo) is integrated today. Airtel Money is on our roadmap. Payments are not processed through Google Play.

Do I need an agent to rent through RentFreely?

No. RentFreely is built for direct landlord and tenant contact. You see UGX rent and location upfront, then unlock and call when you are ready, without a broker layer.

Where is RentFreely available?

We are Kampala-first and expanding as listings grow across Uganda. Search anywhere on the map to discover properties.

How do I delete my account?

Open Profile → Help & support → Request account deletion in the app, or email hello@rentfreely.online.

How do I send product feedback?
